  • Microsoft Dynamics Implementation

    The goals of the CRM project are twofold:
    • building a common Customer Relationship Management vision thanks to the deployment of ONE CRM platform
    • and aligning all Business Entities, being either National or International, as to the CRM processes and system that is to be used and shared.
    Therefore, the scope of the project includes also the 13 worldwide subsidiaries, representing more than 2500 employees serving about 15,000 industrial customers.

    The project objective was to provide Front-Office teams (about 1000 inspectors) and Back-Office teams (about 150 persons) with an ergonomic and friendly collaborative platform in order to electronically:

    • Assist the inspector to manage his/her daily work (assigned tasks, Statement of working time);
    • Significantly reduce the use of paper at work
    • Automatically transfer reports to the SAP back-end system (avoiding a new manual encoding);

    To meet these functional requirements, we designed and developed a mobile application with emphasis on compliance with the best practices recommended by Microsoft, in terms of user’s interface ("UX interface") and development methodology.

    Through this application the user gets the following set of features:
    • Authentication: access control to different features.
    • List of Reports / Visualising an existing report
    • Creating a new report (predefined templates) / Duplicating existing report / Edit existing reports (ease encoding) / Cancellation of reports / Deleting Reports locally or centrally
    • Language Management: Encoding of reports in Dutch, French, English and German.
    • Management of annexes: in PDF format and/or photos.
    • Local Printing of a Report / Report can be sent to a defined email address
    • Journal of actions / Notifications from the central system
    • Preferences of potential users and stored centrally
    • Secure synchronization with the central server and automatically update of the data and of the application if necessary

The goal was to regroup all the existing plans (which were stored in various excel files at the time) in a central database and to develop a module allowing the management staff to display, edit, and summarize them directly from the Excel environment.
