This Wednesday we were present at CIONET Belgium. From our side Mihailo Backovic and Annemie Marien were present and had the privilege of joining Sabrina Van Meerbeek of Touring. Sabrina showcased our collaborative effort to build TourAssist— an AI-powered call center assistant that's reshaping the way we think about human-AI collaboration. What is different about TourAssist? It is not imagined as a tool or a means of automation, but a versatile assistant that enables call operators to focus more on empathy and quality of service and less on the technical tasks of call processing. Last Friday, Yuma participated in the Natuurkracht Month in Mechelen. With our yumans, we helped create Limburg’s longest hedge - a natural solution to protect against drought and flooding. A small step with a big impact. As part of our ESG strategy, we get involved to make the world greener and more environmentally conscious. And what better way to do this than getting our hands dirty by planting trees. Natuurkracht is an initiative of Natuur en Milieufederatie Limburg, Het Limburgs Landschap, ARK Rewilding Nederland, Natuurmonumenten, and Wereld Natuur Fonds (WWF-NL). Our colleagues from Total Design (Zuiderlicht) developed an inspiring campaign for Natuurkracht to highlight the importance of nature restoration and encourage everyone to do their part.
