This groundbreaking accreditation positions KNUST as the first public university in Ghana to achieve this prestigious standard in food testing, greatly enhancing its credibility and capabilities in this essential domain. The attainment of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation means that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ghana now have access to an esteemed product testing laboratory that can deliver reliable and credible results for their products. This is vital for SMEs striving to meet both local and international market standards, as accredited testing laboratories uphold rigorous quality standards, facilitating market access and boosting consumer trust. What connects Ukrainian industry, AI, and Brussels? The UNIDO projects that support sustainable industrial development and enhance the competitiveness of our industrial sector. I had the pleasure of meeting with Christophe Yvetot UNIDO’s representative to the EU, and his team. It was a friendly and inspiring conversation. In August, UNIDO presented the Mapping the use of artificial intelligence in priority sectors and the competitiveness of Ukraine. The document explores how AI impacts economic development, highlighting the differences in the adoption of technologies across various sectors. In short, Ukraine is demonstrating results that sometimes exceed its resources and scale. I'm sharing the link to the document for those interested in details on patents, venture investments, scientific publications, and trends. I’ll share the most interesting insights separately in the future. We discussed the prospects of attracting investment into digitalization and the role of our projects in the recovery process. We agreed to collaborate on implementing the recommendations to increase the integration of AI into the industry. Thank you to our partners at UNIDO for all their work! It was a pleasure meeting, and I look forward to further cooperation.

📌 This week, Mr. Christophe Yvetot, UNIDO Representative to the European Union, was honoured to welcome Mr. Oleksandr Tsybort, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Economy for Digital Development, Digital Transformations, and Digitalization. Their discussion marked another step toward deepening #UNIDOUkraine collaboration, paving the way for innovative solutions and strengthened partnerships to accelerate Ukraine’s digital transformation and sustainable industrial development. Earlier this year, UNIDO organized the event "Investing in Ukraine: Artificial Intelligence for Economic Recovery," where the report "Mapping the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Priority Sectors and the Competitiveness of Ukraine," was unveiled. Kabuswe, MP, Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development | Zambia, and his esteemed delegation. During the discussions, UNIDO and Zambia reaffirmed their long-standing partnership across critical sectors, including #agriculture, #mining, and #investment attraction. Both parties emphasized the importance of leveraging Zambia's vast mineral resources in a manner that maximizes economic opportunities while fostering sustainability.
