Last week, we were at the Airbus Helicopters facility in Donauwörth for the acceptance of a H145D3 helicopter on lease from LCI. This state-of-the-art aircraft will soon begin service for the Dutch Shipping Pilots Nederlands Loodswezen contract, starting 1st January 2025. As part of our ongoing fleet modernisation strategy, the H145s will replace the Dauphin AS365 N3s, ensuring we continue to offer the safest and most advanced operations. Under this contract, NHV will provide seamless transportation of crew between ships and onshore facilities in Rotterdam. NHV is delighted to have been awarded a multi-year contract starting in March 2025. The contract will support the offshore wind industry in the North Sea alongside turbine operators, Vestas using the Airbus Helicopters H175 for both crew changes and HHO. Today we are celebrating 10 years of the Airbus Helicopters H175 at NHV! Exactly a decade ago today, NHV became the proud launch partner of the Airbus H175 aircraft! The journey began with two Dutch-registered aircraft: PH-NHU, which arrived on 4th December 2014, and PH-NHV, arriving shortly after on 8th December, both operating from our Den Helder base. These helicopters played a vital role in supporting the Oil and Gas industry. In 2019 and 2020, both aircraft transitioned to UK registrations and continue to operate under NHV's UK AOC from Aberdeen, serving Oil and Gas operations in the North Sea. Over the past 10 years, NHV has expanded its H175 fleet across multiple North Sea bases, amassing a wealth of experience and expertise with this exceptional aircraft type. #NHVGroup #Airbus #H175 #10YearCelebration
