♻️ Le ultime giornate sono state intense e stimolanti, grazie alla collaborazione con il CONAI - Consorzio Nazionale Imballaggi, leader in Italia nella gestione del #riciclo e dell’ecodesign, con i quali abbiamo collaborato all’organizzazione di due significativi eventi a sostegno della valorizzazione della #sostenibilità e del riciclo. 📌 Il primo, presso la Residenza del Rappresentante Permanente Aggiunto d'Italia presso l'Unione Europea, Ambasciatore Stefano Verrecchia, ha visto il Presidente di CONAI, Ignazio Capuano, sottolineare il ruolo cruciale del sistema CONAI nel raggiungere gli obiettivi nazionali di riciclo e recupero dei materiali di imballaggio, evidenziando come il modello italiano, basato sulla Responsabilità estesa del Produttore (EPR), possa ispirare best practice a livello europeo. 📌 Nella mattinata di oggi, l’evento al Parlamento Europeo, ospitato dall’On. Elena Donazzan del gruppo dei Conservatori e Riformisti europei, ha rappresentato un'importante occasione di confronto tra istituzioni e imprese. Durante la tavola rotonda, si è discusso del ruolo strategico della #filiera del riciclo per il percorso industriale verso la #decarbonizzazione e per la competitività industriale europea, emergendo chiaramente come la sostenibilità non sia più solo una questione ambientale, ma anche una grande opportunità per creare valore economico, innovazione tecnologica e posti di lavoro green. È stato stimolante ascoltare i contributi di esperti e rappresentanti istituzionali su temi cruciali come l’eco-progettazione e la #circolarità delle risorse, così come l’impegno di CONAI nel promuovere una cultura diffusa della sostenibilità. 🇪🇺📦 Un sentito ringraziamento a tutti i rappresentanti del CONAI e dei Consorzi di settore: Ricrea (acciaio), Cial (alluminio), Comieco (carta e cartone), Consorzio Rilegno (legno), Corepla (plastica), Biorepack (bioplastica) e CoReVe (vetro), e soprattutto a tutti gli eurodeputati che hanno partecipato al dibattito, rendendo queste giornate un’importante occasione di scambio e crescita per il futuro dell'economia circolare.
