🎉The last week before Xmas saw another busy week for KNX, this time in China. Activities concentrated on the accreditation for interworking/functionality of the SGS test lab, this time for the Guangzhou branch on Tuesday, the accreditation extension of the Dekra testlab also in Guangzhou but now for lower layer testing on Wednesday/Thursday and a whirlwind visit to Nanjing on Friday, for discussions with KNX China on the reviving of the GB/T 20965 standard extension with new parts and a presentation at the 2024 world intelligent manufacturing conference. ✨ It is so nice to see that KNX China is stepping up its activities in 2025 following the setup of several working groups. The same goes for the extension of the GB/T standard with the Chinese text of the EN50090-5-3 (RF) and EN50090-3-4 (data security), which is expected to be published in March 2025. In parallel KNX China will investigate with the local standardization organization SAC how to again extend the text with the more recent KNX novelties: KNX Information Model, KNX RESTful web services and KNX IPv6 field bus communication. #knx #knxchina
