Alors que 2024 touche à sa fin, nous sommes fiers de partager quelques points clés d’IMM cette année. Nous avons mis en service la centrale électrique de 22 MW pour une mine de minerai de fer en Sierra Leone, permettant ainsi à l’opérateur minier de disposer d’une énergie fiable et durable. Nous avons démarré avec succès le projet d'extension de 16 MW de la centrale électrique de Mahé aux Seychelles, relevant par la même occasion un défi logistique de taille : la livraison de 2 moteurs de 120 tonnes par barge, directement sur le site du client. Nous avons célébré les 40 ans d'activités d'IMM, qui se traduisent par un beau palmarès : plus de 70 projets effectués dans 22 pays, près de 1000 MW de capacité installée ! Nous avons renforcé et développé nos activités d’accompagnement de nos clients dans l’exploitation de leurs installations pour optimiser la durée de vie et la disponibilité de leurs centrales électriques. We commissioned the 22 MW power plant for an iron ore mine in Sierra Leone, providing the mining operator with reliable and sustainable energy. We successfully launched the 16 MW extension project of the Mahé power plant in Seychelles, whilst tackling a significant logistical challenge: delivering two 120-ton engines by barge directly to the client’s site. We celebrated 40 years of operations in Africa, with a track record covering more than 70 projects completed in 22 countries, and nearly 1000 MW of installed capacity! We further expanded our support to our customers’ operations, providing extended after-sales services, and optimizing the lifetime and availability of their power plants. 🚧Work in progress in Seychelles ! 👷♂️ IMM is busy building the 16 MW power plant extension in Mahé, Seychelles for Public Utilities Corporation. Civil works are in progress, with casting and curing of the reinforced concrete foundations. These foundations will support the weight of two Wärtsilä generators of 120 tons each ! The generators arrived by a dedicated boat last week. Enjoy the nice pictures from the construction site.
