Last week, I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies - FENS-Hertie Winter School on “Protein Aggregation and Its Consequences in Neurodegenerative Disorders” in the picturesque setting of Obergurgl, Austria. The school was truly a highlight-filled with cutting-edge scientific talks, engaging discussions, and practical career insights from inspiring speakers. The program not only deepened my understanding of protein aggregation in neurodegeneration but also sparked ideas for future research directions. A heartfelt thank you to Susanne Wegmann, Luc Buee, and the entire team for organizing such a stimulating and welcoming environment. I also feel incredibly lucky to have shared this experience with a fantastic group of young neuroscientists. Connecting with peers who are this passionate was a real privilege—and I look forward to seeing where these new connections lead! This week will stay with me for a long time—both for the science and the unforgettable memories made. 🧠❄️ #FENSWinterSchool
