ImpaktEU wordt een waarborghouder en zal vanaf 1 januari Vlaamse waarborgen kunnen verkrijgen via PMV bij het verlenen van kredieten. Dat moet de financieringskloof verkleinen waar microfinanciering en sociaal ondernemerschap vandaag mee kampen. Het ImpaktEU-fonds richt zich op de ontwikkeling van microfinanciering en sociaal ondernemerschap in België, en meer algemeen in Europa. De waarborgregeling van de Vlaamse overheid, via PMV, maakt het voor ondernemers makkelijker om krediet te verkrijgen bij de bank (of andere financiële instellingen). Ondernemingen die geen financieringsovereenkomst kunnen afsluiten door een gebrek aan voldoende waarborgen, kunnen via de PMV-waarborgregeling tot 75 procent van de verbintenissen laten afdekken door het Vlaams gewest, in ruil voor een eenmalige premie. Zo neemt het Vlaams gewest een deel van het risico over van de bank (of van een andere financiële instelling), wat leidt tot een hogere kredietverstrekking aan ondernemers. We have signed a EUR 230 million loan with Latvenergo AS to finance:   ✅ 300 MW of new solar power capacities,   ✅ the upgrade of hydropower plants’ (#HPP) infrastructure, and   ✅ updating the #electricity distribution grid in #Latvia.     ☀️ Latvenergo will build four new #solar farms across the country with a combined capacity of 300 MW, the largest being the solar farm in Aizpute.     These investments will significantly increase #renewable energy capacities in Latvia, leading to reduced greenhouse gas emissions and #energy independence.     “Improving the security of supply in the energy sector is key for productivity in the #Nordic-#Baltic region. 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲: 𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲 🌱 Om een CO₂-neutraal voedselsysteem te realiseren, is de eiwittransitie onmisbaar. Fermentatie is een veelbelovende technologie achter duurzame eiwitoplossingen en wordt gebruikt voor de productie van bijvoorbeeld plantaardige zuivelproducten. Maar groei in deze sector stuit op uitdagingen. Hoge investeringskosten, complexe opschaling en regelgeving maken het voor startups moeilijk om verder te komen. Invest-NL en Wageningen University & Research ontwikkelden een beoordelingskader om dit te doorbreken. Dit helpt investeerders om weloverwogen beslissingen te nemen en verlaagt de drempel om te investeren in #fermentatietechnologie. Wij geloven dat het wegnemen van financiële knelpunten in de alternatieve eiwitmarkt essentieel is om de wereldwijde #eiwittransitie te versnellen. Zo dragen we bij aan een duurzaam en CO₂ neutraal voedsel- en landbouwsysteem.
