DIGITALEUROPE's #DigitalSkillsSummit2024 celebrated the successful conclusion of the ESSA Software Skills project. 💡 As part of the summit, the ESSA project took center stage during a panel discussion on the European Digital Skills Strategy, moderated by Vincenzo Renda (DIGITALEUROPE). 📣After four impactful years, the ESSA Software Skills project, funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme and led by DIGITALEUROPE, concludes with a solid framework to build a skilled software workforce for the EU. 🎉 Empowering Europe’s Software Skills Future After four transformative years, the ESSA Software Skills project has successfully concluded its mission, setting a strong foundation for Europe’s digital workforce. 💡 Funded by Erasmus+ and led by DIGITALEUROPE, ESSA brought together 26 partners and over 50 associated partners from 22 countries to address Europe’s software skills shortage. Together, we developed a unified strategy to upskill and reskill talent for high-demand software roles, ensuring a resilient and thriving digital ecosystem. 📣Today, Chiara Longobardi Esposito Cesariello, ESSA Project Manager, presented the European Software Skills Alliance at the ICODSIP 2024 conference.   Chiara highlighted ESSA’s mission to address the critical shortage of software skills in Europe. By collaborating with industry leaders and educational institutions, ESSA is shaping innovative training solutions and skills frameworks that empower individuals to thrive in the ever-evolving digital landscape.   💡The event brought together thought leaders from academia, industry, and policymaking to tackle urgent issues such as the #DigitalSkills gap, #Cybersecurity, and the journey towards achieving a skilled workforce for Digital Europe 2030.   Thank you to the conference organisers: CEPIS, Universidad de Alcalá, and ATI Comunicación for providing a platform to share the ESSA vision!
