Governance Evolution for a New Phase of Development at Degroof Petercam. Today, our Board of Directors has decided to co-opt Sylvie Huret, the current CEO of Degroof Petercam Asset Services, as CEO of Bank Degroof Petercam, subject to the approval of the European Central Bank. She will ensure the succession of Hugo Lasat, who will remain in his position up until the end of the year. We wish to thank Hugo Lasat for his commitment since joining Degroof Petercam in 2011 and for his invaluable contribution to the development of our Investment House. Furthermore, the Board has also decided to submit to the General Shareholders’ Meeting, subject to the approval of the European Central Bank, the appointment of Jean-Christophe DROGUET, the current Head of Audit at Indosuez, as Deputy CEO and member of the Management Board of Bank Degroof Petercam. The choice for these seasoned professionals is in line with continuity and will ensure the further development of Degroof Petercam's activities while accelerating its integration into the Indosuez group. This new governance will guarantee our strong Belgian foundations, with a Belgian CEO having 30-year experience in the banking sector and a profound understanding of our activities and will benefit from a Deputy CEO with in-depth knowledge of Indosuez Wealth Management and Crédit Agricole. Degroof Petercam Investment Banking France est intervenu comme conseil financier auprès d’ UI Investissement et GENEO Capital Entrepreneur pour la levée d’un financement bancaire dans le cadre de l’acquisition de didactic - Dispositifs Médicaux aux côtés de l’Equipe de Management ainsi que de Bpifrance et GROUPE MACSF qui interviennent en co-investisseurs. Les principales missions de DPIB ont été d’assister les nouveaux actionnaires dans la négociation et la coordination des échanges avec les banques et les fonds de dette ainsi que le mise en place du financement. Cette opération illustre toute l’expertise de DPIB en tant que conseil en financement et sa capacité à accompagner des fonds d’investissements pour le financement d’acquisitions. Récemment, nous avons accueilli une centaine de personnes lors d’une conférence qui avait pour thème les aspects légaux et fiscaux relatifs à l’achat, la détention et la cession d’un bien immobilier situé dans le sud de l’Europe, au Domaine du Bois d’Arlon. Organisée en partenariat avec la concession automobile Bilia Group (BMW et MINI) de Libramont et Arlon, cette soirée a été l’occasion de présenter en exclusivité deux nouveaux modèles et d’exposer des photographies de l’artiste Michel Peeraer. The traditional visits of Saint Nicholas bring December's magic to life. Sadly, not every child is sure to receive a gift. At the initiative of some of our colleagues, a gift collection was organized at our Brussels office, and presents were distributed in collaboration with Fedasil to underprivileged children in an asylum seeker center.
