Las 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘀 tienen un valor inmenso para nuestras sociedades. No solo generan 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗼 𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗼 y un fuerte 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 que las rodea, sino que además son un ejemplo de 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮.   💡 En un momento en el que cada vez más personas buscan proyectos que se alineen con sus valores, empleos de calidad y relaciones laborales basadas en el compromiso mutuo, las cooperativas responden a todas estas demandas de manera ejemplar 🤝   En el evento organizado por CECOP, la Confederación Europea de Cooperativas Industriales y de Servicios, he reafirmado mi compromiso de priorizar el movimiento cooperativo y la economía social durante este mandato. Agradezco especialmente a la delegación de España, con quienes pude dialogar sobre los retos que enfrentan tanto a nivel nacional como europeo. #Cooperativismo

🤝 Yesterday we had the pleasure to meet with Bonifacio Garcia Porras, the new Head of Unit in charge of social economy in the EU for Social Economy & Social Enterprises (DG GROW) together with our Spanish member Coceta. We discussed key topics for industrial cooperatives in the next EU agenda: taxation and revision of Public Procurement rules, among others.

📍 Today CECOP members visited the European Parliament's Hemicycle and the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels. The visit is part of the event "What is CECOP’s role in the EU?", a unique opportunity to better understand CECOP's advocacy work, gain insight into the workings of the EU institutions, and connect with cooperative leaders from all across Europe. 🤝 This activity also aims to reduce the gap between Brussels and the regional/local or cooperative level thanks to informational, social and networking events. Delegations from Italy, Spain, Sweden and Malta were present.

📌 This evening CECOP members gathered in Brussels to visit CoHop, the first microbrewery cooperative in town. 🍻 We had a guided tour & tasting, and discovered more about this eco-responsible brewery which offers quality craft beers and has a positive social impact. 🤝 We also learned that CoHop's main values are rooted in solidarity, sharing, transparency and circularity.
