🚍 Back in the Busworld Days The 1987 Car & Bus Show was a year of milestones and growth! 🌍 With exhibitors from 32 countries, the show expanded beyond its usual three halls to include temporary structures, accommodating the increasing number of component suppliers, traders, and service providers. It was also the first edition to run for six days, attracting more than 12,600 visitors—a record-breaking moment! Two key highlights from that year: ✨ Van Hool’s groundbreaking agreement with ABC Bus Companies, securing sales of 100 coaches to the USA—a partnership that continues today under VDL Van Hool. ✨ Setra Kassbohrer’s celebration of the first intercity bus line between Antwerp, Brussels, and Paris with the iconic Setra S 228 DT—attended by Belgium’s Minister for Traffic, Herman De Croo. 📸 What’s your favorite Busworld memory?
