Sustainability is often considered a buzz word but not for TEAM. As a continuation, a 3-day-long training on Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) was inaugurated by Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Abdullah Hil Nakib on 10th October and closed on 26th October amid vibrant participation of 33 Senior Leaders. The participant engaged in deep discussion to understand the essence of sustainability in apparel sector weighing against standards like GRI, ESRS, IFRS. In his message, Managing Director, Mr. Abdullah Hil Rakib said, ESG is engraved in our DNA. With the slogan "Say No to Fragile Bone" TEAM Pharmaceuticals Ltd. organized a workshop for its female employees to raise awareness on World Osteoporosis Day. Medical expert, Dr. Farzana Sharmin Shuvra briefed on how to identify early signs of osteoporosis and take proactive steps to maintain bone health and prevent osteoporosis -related complications. It ended with a Q&A session ensuring the clarity of the audiences' understanding of osteoporosis. The COO Md. Abul Monsur of Team Pharamaceuticals Ltd. inaugurated the event. Several news media were present and covered the event. The second part of the workshop shifted focus to mental health, emphasizing its strong connection to physical health. The L&D from Group HR led this segment. With innovative activities, the audience unfolded that mental and physical health are two integral parts of the same coin and both need addressing.
