What is the time commitment?
Mentors and mentees spend as little as one hour per week for one year.
How Will I be supported during my journey?
You will have a Mentoring Coordinator from the agency supporting your mentoring relationship for the full duration. Our job is to support you, your mentee, and their families should there by any obstacles that arise but also to celebrate all your successes with you!
Can you give me a better understanding of the role of being a mentor?
By having consistent visits that focus around shared interests, you are building a rapport between you and your mentee that will help create a developmental relationship.
