Morgan Lewis is the Youth Program Manager at BAVC Media where she plans filmmaking programs focusing on inclusivity for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, low-income, and gender-diverse youth. She builds community partnerships, plans events and screenings, and works with marketing to boost outreach through social media and email campaigns.
Morgan Lewis is a Bay Area director and producer with a background in education and media. An instructor at Reel Stories for five years and part of BAVC Media for three, she teaches documentary filmmaking to girls and gender-expansive youth. With a BFA in Film from California College of the Arts, Morgan’s work focuses on promoting representation and challenging oppression in media.
She screened her film The Riots at the International Social Change Film Festival
When not at work, Morgan enjoys eating good food and traveling!
