Job Purpose: The Repair / Construction Estimator will prepare and negotiate timely, thorough, accurate, complaint costs estimate for Restoration repairs and services.
These estimates will be prepared using a variety of digital tools and technology including tick sheets, Job Management file notes and photos, Matterport Scans, and others along with site inspections.
These estimates will provide the basis for project services, cost, timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Core Abilities:
· Insurance restoration experience and/or knowledge – Understand time, equipment, material, and labor required to return a property to pre-loss condition while maintaining profitability
· Property insurance knowledge – know or source the varying requirements for each insurance carrier or Third-Party Administrator
· Strong Construction knowledge
· Technology savvy – expertly use current industry technology; ability and willingness to master new technologies
· Negotiation - Articulate estimate rationale and persuade adjusters and reviewers to accept estimates as submitted
· Time Management – respond timely to needs and inquiries of multiple internal and external stakeholders.
· Organization – manage details of multiple projects in an organized and efficient manner
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare estimates in Xactimate for all projects assigned
· Prepare accurate estimates from a variety of sources of data: Tick sheets, job management notes, job photos, Xactanlysis, Matterport Scans, and other tools as available
· Ensure estimates are completed within time lines and requirements outlined by the client.
· Prepare scopes that are thorough, capturing often overlooked details to ensure work can be completed at target Gross Margin rates
· Collaboration with other estimators for Peer review of estimates to ensure all details are captured
· Work closely with field staff to obtain needed data to ensure an accurate and thorough estimate
· Prepare estimates in keeping with insurance and TPA program rules
· Build credibility with adjusters that expand referral sources and strengthen the negotiation process.
· Record essential notes in estimating and job management software
· Respond with openness to change orders and supplement requests.
· Respond timely to estimate revision requests
· Approach scoping with an eye to innovation and continuous improvement.
· Negotiate services and insurance claims settlements.
· Submit estimates in a timely manner determined by company requirements.
· Establish and maintain client relationships as well as relationships with insurance adjusters and claim representatives.
Qualifications:

· Ability to pass a drug test

· Xactimate proficiency required
