A couple of pop gems from the late 80's by the literally unknown band from St. Petersburg. Präsidium (Президиум) were formed in 1988 by Vladimir Savenok, who was their composer and a keyboard player. A band started their career mostly performing at small venues and restaurants and at some point their line-up consisted of up to ten members. In 1989 they got an invitation to play live in Uzbekistan, which transformed into full-scale tour all over the Soviet Union, including siberian far north. Having a certain success performing live, they even appeared on a soviet TV with the video of their undoubted hit, «Звёздный циферблат», which can be seen here

Unfortunately they disbanded in 1991 and didn't record a lot of audio material, but we have picked up the best for you: The A side of this record is a slow italo disco vibe, immersing us into a deep and dark atmosphere, whereas side B offers a laidback pop groove just good enough for cruising in the night city.
Written and composed by Vladimir Savenok.
Recorded in 1989, Leningrad, USSR.
Both tracks are kindly provided by Vladimir Savenok from his personal archives. Released as a limited run of 7 inch vinyl by Baran Records in 2014.
