Of all things beautiful, there exists a special kind - a rarity - that evokes mixed feelings within me, lying somewhere between comforting and utterly intimidating. Brilliant things may come at full speed, and this album felt like a full, unrestrained force of the heart coming straight at me. - Nala, thank you for that.

I'm known to be bluntly honest, but I do keep things to myself when I have nothing positive to say. So that's why I will share that this album does not charm me the way "Seafoam & Dust" did, but that I have the artist in highest regards, and want to be patient to let this one grow on me.

Truly fascinating journey, and I totally get the reference to Wernor Herzog's work. This album moves the 'need to know now' away from the impatient listener by slowly panning out and moving along the horizon, absorbing, giving the backdrop of nature and sound it's own rightful place in storytelling.

Converting tragedy and ugliness into creative output and beauty, is walking the path of an artist. But also going the other way. May you keep heart in all directions, Tomáš.
