    by Tom Cardy
The Ballad of Smokin Joe Rudeboy The Ballad of Smokin Joe Rudeboy
Big Dumb Idiot is legitimately a hilarious album. On top of that, it's also very good. From the first track to the last, just incredibly fun music. The Ballad of Smokin Joe Rudeboy is possibly my favorite, in how it is simultaneously a comedy version of that type of story and a legitimately really fun one. Absolutely delightful, wonderful album.

  16. A Legacy of Rentals
    by Craig Finn
A Break From The Barrage A Break From The Barrage
Craig Finn's "A Legacy of Rentals" is a wonderful album. From start to finish, the songs on it are excellent. They're all very well told stories in addition to being good songs, and they all do a very good job of evoking emotion. My favorite is probably "A Break From The Barrage", in no small part because of the titular phrase, which is sung so well and fits so well in the song. An impressively moving album, and absolutely worth a listen.
  17. The Pilgrim, Their God and The King Of My Decrepit Mountain
    by Tapir!
    Mountain Song Mountain Song
Tapir!'s "The Pilgrim, Their God and The King Of My Decrepit Mountain" is a truly impressive album. Every song on it is excellent, and they all fit together into a good album, too. My favorite songs (I'm going to cheat this time) have to be the final two songs, "My God" and "Mountain Song" ("Untitled" is also great, so maybe I should just say Act 3...). "My God"s lyrics resonate with me more than I would have guessed, and "Mountain Song" is just beautiful. It's an absolutely wonderful album.
  18. Dumbass of the Century

Dumbass of the Century Dumbass of the Century
This album is one I've enjoyed even more than I would have initially guessed. Extremely high energy, delightful lyrics, and just a lot of fun. My favorite song has to be the second to last (not swearing is a very annoying habit to have when writing this), which has my favorite lyrics of the album on top of the fantastic energy that this album pulls off so very well. The cover of "She" is also fantastic, so I guess now I'll need to go listen to the original song for context. Excellent album.
  19. Airplane In The Sky

  20. Wizard Fistfight
    by Cone Poem
This song truly, truly delivers on the context. Fully, excellently, and unambiguously. Also it's very funny. Just in case that was missed.
