We are very honoured to partner with JDRF Australia supporting the next generation of breakthrough projects that will make a positive impact for people living with Type 1 Diabetes.
📢 New funding to help deliver type 1 diabetes research breakthroughs into the hands of the community JDRF is proud to announce that almost $1 million has been committed to six type 1 diabetes (T1D) research projects to enable them to reach the commercialisation stage of development. This critical stage is necessary to allow new therapies and treatments to reach people living with T1D. We have partnered with Cicada Innovations to develop and deliver our new Strategic Program for Advancing Research Commercialisation (SPARC) program. This program will provide commercialisation training for researchers, bespoke mentorship to address the unique challenges of each project and to bridge the gaps between the early stages of research and commercial readiness. These six projects are being led by A/Prof Stuart Mannering, Prof Christoph Hagemeyer, Dr Blake Cochran, Prof Josephine Forbes, Dr Eliana Mariño and Prof Michael Cowley.
