In addition, the current system design of a maximum row-set count of 5000 records has prevented accurate query result sets. The onset of performance and scalability issues combined with an antiquated legacy platform propelled MICROS-Retail to seek a new technical solution. They have since leveraged their existing offshore development team to re-develop the Serenade product to replicate existing product functionality and correct these current application issues using a new custom developed framework.
