I had the opportunity to speak at the Testing Talks Conference 2024 in Melbourne, where I joined a panel of industry experts to discuss building team buy-in for new automation frameworks and tools. It was a great chance to share insights on how we can align quality initiatives with business goals and ensure smooth transitions for teams. Key takeaways: - Collaboration is key: Getting early buy-in requires strong communication across teams. - Adaptability matters: Frameworks and tools should fit into existing workflows without creating roadblocks. - Long-term vision: The right automation tools can deliver ongoing value, but only with proper planning and support. Life of QA engineer: Finding 100+ bugs with medium, low and lowest priority nobody cares! Find one high priority or critical bug then everybody recognises that QA.
