For 25 years and founded by people with disability, Living My Way was Australia’s first and only of its kind that fully understood from personal experience the importance of all people exercising their fundamental human right to have choice, control and freedom to live life as any other.
I am personally motivated to this cause as my mum passed away after fighting Parkinson's Disease for many years and I witnessed how her quality of life was maintained as she could remain in her own home due to modifications to the house and the support of her specialist carers.
