About
Martin Cattach is an expert Working Capital Strategist. His mission is to help SME operators increase their business productivity and reduce their stress levels using better business finance strategies.
He enables them to increase the Cash Available in their business by combining:
- Solid financial stategies.
- Smart responsive finance tools.
- More traditional finance products.
SME FINANCE IS LIMITED
Small businesses are often limited by a lack of accessible, affordable finance tools. So they operate under constant stress, with their productivity limited by insufficient cash availability.
Today’s range of non-bank FinTech products offers SMEs new and better tools and strategies - but they are not yet well understood or easily accessible.
Way too many Australian SMEs today are limited to what funds they can source from “the bank of family and friends” - supplemented by expensive credit card debt and restrictive bank loans.
Insufficient working capital results in:
1. Massive amounts of stress, time and energy spent chasing payments and juggling bills instead of operations.
2. Limited cash available to invest in the inputs and innovation needed to increase their productivity.
A BUSINESS PRODUCTIVITY MISSION
Martin’s goal is to free his clients from the stress and frustration of traditional business finance. He combines expert strategy and product selection with deep business understanding.
He helps his clients access the full earning power of their business - improving its productivity and reducing their financial stress.
Martin’s first passion is people - one that developed early from working in the family hospitality business. His understanding, empathy and communication skills make him an effective strategist AND and a great speaker.
His business superpower - honed over decades - is the ability to ask the right questions and connect the dots. His “secret weapon” is his ability to develop powerful strategies AND explain them in straightforward terms.
THE FINANCE FOR BUSINESS STORY
After spending his early years in his family’s small business Martin started his finance career at the big end of town - in the banking industry. His work was to help SMEs who needed finance - but it was limited by policy and security requirements.
In 2009, Martin began a return to his small business roots. He developed a BETTER BUSINESS BANKING methodology to enable SME businesses to access innovative, flexible and lower-cost strategies to fund their growth. In 2015, Martin completed his return to the SME world, founding FINANCE FOR BUSINESS.
