“Lana worked with me at very short notice to support the people and culture aspects of a company merger. Lana came prepared, anticipated what I needed and organised information in a clear and practical way. Highly collaborative, she brought clear structure to what can be a tricky/complex and emotional process.”

You're coaching an executive client. How do you navigate professional boundaries when they're crossed?
I establish clear expectations from the start. When boundaries are crossed, I address it promptly but diplomatically. For example, if personal matters arise beyond the coaching scope, I redirect professionally: "I hear this is important to you. While it's outside our coaching focus, I can recommend resources better suited to address these personal concerns." The goal is to preserve the coaching relationship's integrity while showing respect for the executive's needs. This balance helps create lasting positive outcomes.

QYO is a non-profit organisation requiring substantial funds to fulfil its mission. In order of magnitude, the organisation's main sources of income are from membership fees, corporate sponsorship, grants from the State and Federal Governments through Arts Queensland and the Australia Council, concert income and fundraising activities.
I assisted in the attainment of >$100k in funds for QYO. I also initiated the initial conversations that led to the 1st collaboration between Qld Symphony Orchestra and Qld Youth Orchestra - Brahms and Star Wars concert in Feb 2019. -
