This project has the goal of becoming the one-stop website for everyone traveling around Australia, from Grey Nomads to Road Trippers the website will help users to get the best experience when hitting the Australian highways.

My role as the UX Lead here involves:

• User research - getting to know who the users are, their behaviors, the haves-wants-needs until categorizing them into persona profiles so the company has the user at the centre of every design activity;

• Ideation workshops - understanding users' requirements, collaborating & ideating through problem framing, understanding, and making;

• LoFi wireframing - quick and easy way of getting initial ideas rolling;

• HiFi prototyping - getting the visual designs to a point where users & business could interact and have a feel for the product;

• Visual design - hi-fidelity comps, making sure the engineering team has all the necessary information to develop the product, also used for final sign-off.

All of this work has been done throughout the envisioning stage of the project and now, at the closest point of the MVP launch I've been working together during the Agile sprints. Show less

During Phase I of VISP, project branding and communication templates were created so change could be enabled within the business. Also from the start up the look and feel was designed and applied across the screens making sure users have a consistent experience throughout the application.

Phase II supported new features, new workflows, and new connectivity to Petrel. UX had to be re-visited adding new screen designs, new user flows as well as removing any information that is not relevant to the users anymore. Show less

Fabiano was the UI/UX design lead on a CRM application. Fabiano’s responsibilities included stakeholder consultation, requirements gathering and refinement, and preparation of an online framework. As part of this engagement Fabiano also proposed a solution, which would result in fewer “clicks” and capture more relevant data input, maximizing the return on investment for the customer.

Fabiano was the sole designer of a Business Intelligence web application for a large IT company. He designed all aspects of the application from product icons to the app’s complex and traffic-heavy dashboard. Fabiano leveraged Microsoft’s Expression Studio to produce production ready code for developers.

Fabiano led a large team in reformulating one of Australia’s largest theme park eCommerce solutions. Fabiano performed heuristic evaluations, competitive analysis activities and facilitated focus groups with subject matter experts. The result was a more fluent, engaging and usable eCommerce experience.
