What’s going to drive this growth? We’ve all seen the graphs showing Retail Media blowing past the $100B mark in the next few years. And given what we’ve witnessed during the last few, it seems reasonable. However, the brands and agencies funding this are making clear statements about what needs to be true if they are going to continue to allocate larger portions of their budgets to the channel: - More in-store options - Better cross-channel measurement and attribution - More transparency The first one is big. Why? Because in-store audiences are the largest untapped resource most RMNs have that brands haven’t had efficient access to through programmatic digital channels - until now. As Retail Media matures, it’s becoming apparent that what got us here is necessary, but not sufficient, to get us to the next level. There’s only so much onsite inventory available to bid on. At a certain point, demand on SPA can raise costs to the point where margins are squeezed. And with online transactions accounting for ~15% of total sales for many products, it’s possible to hit a ceiling at which point there’s little incremental return gained from each additional dollar of spend. Many brands already feel this pain. Offiste audience extensions are part of the answer. Most RMNs have some capability to match their shopper audiences and data with social and CTV platforms. It requires a robust tech stack, but when properly implemented, provides access to significantly more impressions outside of those available on the retailer’s owned and operated properties. But what if you could get the reach and scale of offsite AND the contextual relevance of onsite? What if you could efficiently reach active shoppers in the physical stores where 85%+ of the sales occur? And what if it was easy and fast to deploy? Available in the same DSPs where your other digital campaigns live? This is the promise of digital in-store, it’s why brands and agencies are asking for more of it, and why it’s the next frontier for Retail Media to continue growing at the rates predicted by so many analysts and consulting firms. Last week the Path to Purchase Institute hosted the first-ever Storefronts event in Chicago. It was an acknowledgement of the tremendous potential of this opportunity. The keynote speaker was the always compelling Andrew Lipsman, who made a convincing, data-supported case that physical retail audiences are the “next TV” as traditional linear audiences erode. And he’s right. What’s old is new again because the medium has been completely reimagined as a scaled digital platform that’s not just going to arrive soon, it’s here, and is driving the next major wave of Retail Media growth for the brands, agencies and retailers who are leaning in.

Cookies, CAPI, Events, Server-Side Tracking - a lot if going on in the digital marketing world. Brands selling online will need the right team members, partners, tools and service providers to make sure they stay on top of these changes, and as a result maximise their ROI from marketing spends. With 3rd party cookies getting blocked, marketing campaigns will need more signals to help optimise and deliver ROAS. Here is how are we solving for it: 1) An SDK (APP & Web) which allows open internet players like Index Exchange PubMatic InMobi The Trade Desk Liftoff Mobile Smaato (Now part of Verve) Verve Amazon Ads etc to get access to quality inventory of publishers outside of GAM, while supporting Google Meta Google AdMob AppLovin Unity (mediation platform) as they have lion share of ad-spends today. But since header bidding is enabled everyone gets a chance to beat the behemoths and exist inside / outside of mediation platforms (through our SDK) and publishers decided their way of engagement 2) For publishers, our SDKs take away the heavy lifting and everything is pre-configured (and in some cases we have to onboard new partners who are not there today). We launched a campaign so bad that we had to pause it. This was a direct comparison between Google-to-Google and Google-to-Outlook inboxes. In this campaign, we targeted Australian eCommerce apparel brands doing over $100k+ in monthly revenue. The first campaign yielded 0 responses. (not even OOO) The second campaign booked us 3 calls, and my client closed 1 deal, adding $6,000 in revenue. Both those campaigns had: → The same copy → The same validation process → The same warm-up settings → The same lead list → The same sending pattern → And the same sending tool (Instantly.ai) The only difference? One was sent to Google Workspace users, and the other to Outlook users. Do what you want with this information — you’re all smart But in case you are still wondering, DO. NOT. SEND. TO. OUTLOOK.
