About
I’m master-level speechwriting consultant who loves writing speeches that get the ‘thumbs up’ from your audience. No matter what the topic, I can write you a jaw-dropping speech that:
• Captures (and keeps) attention
• Convinces and persuades
• Gets action
• Makes an impact
Over the past 8 years I’ve rustled up over a thousand speeches (that’s 1,000+) and 496 op eds and other written and video messages, on topics ranging from music to education, politics to religion, and everything in between. I’ve written for speakers at state funerals, media summits, international conferences, anti-terrorism gatherings, inter-faith meetings, political rallies, and more.
Of course, I have to admit, I have an unfair advantage – I draw on a rich background in marketing, teaching, and researching on a variety of topics, including music, languages, philosophy, writing, and politics.
Recent clients include the chair of the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC), the Premier of NSW, Dominic Perrottet, and the Archbishop of Sydney, Anthony Fisher.
I’m a fanatic researcher, who spent several years acquiring a PhD in Philosophy, Film, and Literature. This not only honed my precious research skills, it also gave me a top notch appreciation for popular culture – that often comes in handy when helping speakers connect with their audiences.
With ongoing experience lecturing at university, I offer my clients a unique edge as a speechwriter who has worked on ‘both sides of the podium’.
I love sharing my experience and expertise with my speech and pitch coaching students, helping them to develop the skills they need to boost their own presentation performance.
