Wurrba is extremely honored to have been able to work with The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT) to revamp the #CycloneTracy exhibition ahead of the 50th anniversary. The revamped exhibit includes a darkened sound booth playing looped audio recordings of the cyclone, which has been enhanced with vibrating walls, and a sculpture Torana chosen based on the popularity of an image of the car in the old exhibition. Thank you to the hard work of our team and our contractors for pulling together such an important display on short notice. Raphael Clarke Justin Moulds

The Wurrba team got together today to make sure we open up the conversation around R U OK? day and what it means for each of us. At Wurrba, our people are most valuable asset and have made a commitment to not just use this one day a year to check in on our mates, but make sure they are OK every day!

Last week our Director Raphael Clarke was honored to be a guest speaker to the Top End Youth Leadership Project 2024 – West Daly Region with kids from Nganmarriyanga, Nganambala and Wooliana. Raphael talked with the group about courage and leadership and how each person can make a difference to themselves, their family and the wider community through their courage to dream big. The kids were all asked to be courageous and ask the best questions they could think of, of course there were prizes for the best questions. Raphael was asked about his AFL career at St Kilda and the courage he needed as a young man to make the leap from grass roots football to professional football. Raphael spoke about some of the challenges he had going from the Northern Territory to the big smoke, Melbourne, and how he had to adjust to the new lifestyle and climate and how he found the courage every day. Leadership also resonated as a topic the group wanted to talk about so Raphael spoke about his dream to have his own Indigenous business and spoke about the leadership he has had to bring to his team but also the courage associated with going out on his own and becoming successful in the industry. Thank you again to Top End Youth Leadership Project 2024 for such a great opportunity to meet some truly amazing emerging leaders.
