As of Wednesday night, Planners Monique van Ingen and Sophia Dow have officially completed their studies! Monique and Sophia both received their Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning from UQ. Sophia was also awarded Valedictorian of their ceremony for her outstanding academic achievements, extracurricular endeavours, and meaningful contributions to university life - An extraordinary achievement! LEADERSHIP // We are excited to announce the well-deserved elevations of two members of our leadership team this month. ✴️ Amy Marsden joined WCG in 2021 and is a highly skilled urban planner, her work in the affordable housing space is a testament to her commitment to building equitable and sustainable communities. We congratulate Amy on her new role as Director. ✴️ Matthew Khoo joined WCG in 2023 and has been utilising his industry experience and expertise to help grow the Gold Coast portfolio, prioritising his professional relationships with clients and ensuring a collaborative approach to managing projects. Can you believe we're in the second week of December already? What a massive year it has been. We're taking a festive break to celebrate with family and friends, so we can prepare for an even bigger 2025, with so much exciting change to come. Our offices will be closed from midday 20 December and reopen on 6 January 2025, and from our family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a safe holiday break.
