What a privilege it was to attend Penrith Community Kitchen last week, to lend a helping hand to those most in need this festive season. We are part of one of the most diverse, vibrant and fasting growing regions in Australia - and to be able to give back to that community is something incredibly special. Penrith Community Kitchen does an incredible job preparing more than 500 meals for people in need each week - and they warmly welcomed us to their site to help pack hampers and prepare food. Thank you to the team from Penrith Community Kitchen for having us! ❤️ Bechtel Corporation

If our WSI trainees are Sydney’s future, then that future is bright! 🛫 💡 It’s hard to believe that our trainees are about to finish their first year with us. Their progress has been inspirational. From school leavers delivering pizzas, to professionals delivering a brand-new 24-hour airport for Sydney – it's just one example of the opportunities WSI is providing young people from Western Sydney. Are we proud? You bet. Are we excited? Absolutely! #WSI #WesternSydney #WesternSydneyAirport #WSIAirport #Aviation #AviationNews

The momentum keeps building here at WSI, as we fly (pun intended) towards welcoming our first customers in 2026. An exciting opportunity is now open for interested parties to participate in a Request for Proposal for Mass Transit and On-demand services at Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport. We are inviting suitable qualified Ground Transport operators to be inaugural partners with WSI, improving connectivity to, from and within the airport precinct to enhance our seamless ground transport experience. This is a rare opportunity to establish an exclusive, at terminal pick-up and drop off zone, with options for a kiosk with dedicated signage and wayfinding to drive customers to your business. Visit https://lnkd.in/giutsMzR for more information and to register your interest. Submissions close on 5th February 2025 at 3pm AEDT. #WSI #WSIAirport #WesternSydneyInternational #Aviation #AviationNews #GroundTransport

One Hundred Thousand Visitors to our Experience Centre! Can you believe it!? 👏 😊 🛫 It’s been almost 2000 days since the WSI Experience Centre opened its doors here at the site of Sydney’s brand-new 24/7 airport - and last week we welcomed our 100,000th visitor. Michelle from the Campbelltown area (who tells us she’s never won anything before) was our lucky milestone visitor – along with her special guest Oliver. Michelle received a voucher to spend at the Lunden House Cade' (which she will absolutely share with Oliver) and a guided tour of the airport. Since opening in September 2019, the Experience Centre has welcomed a variety of guests from locals curious about the airport, families attending our school holiday activities, curious interstate visitors and even Prime Ministers and international dignitaries on official business. When you consider that there was a pandemic thrown into the mix, achieving 100,000 visitors is an incredible feat. The WSI Experience Centre couldn’t operate without the tireless efforts of the team who bring their passion and purpose to every interaction with every visitor every day. This milestone is a result of their hard work and dedication. If you haven’t visited the Experience Centre yet, what are you waiting for!? We’re getting to the pointy end now!... pun definitely intended.. ✈️ Our friend Chuck has been on the WSI project since the first bucket went into the ground on our Landside package – and he reckons he’ll still be here when it’s all over. He’s seen the project transform from paddocks to pavement and he’s proud that he’s contributing to Western Sydney’s future growth. #WSI #WSIAirport #WesternSydneyAirport #WesternSydney #Aviation #AviationNews Seymour Whyte BMD Group

Meet Dylan – a young Western Sydney local who has gone from delivering pizzas, to delivering a multi-billion-dollar project that will change Sydney for the better! ✈️ Not many people can say that their first full time job was working on a greenfield airport. WSI is more than a runway and a terminal – it's about unprecedented opportunities for jobs, for travel, for e-commerce and most importantly, for young people like Dylan. We are so proud of the difference we are making... and we aren’t even open yet! #WSI #WSIAirport #WesternSydneyAirport #WesternSydney #Aviation #AviationNews #Aviationjobs

An end of year celebration with the local community provided an opportunity to get together for our annual BBQ on the lawn overlooking the completed runway and celebrate the airport’s great progress during 2024. With our major construction phase close to completion, we were delighted to welcome more than 100 community members last night. Santa was even on hand to spread some Christmas cheer! We appreciate the strong interest and support that we receive from the local community as we work to deliver one of the biggest infrastructure projects in Australia’s history! It’s going to be a game changer for people living locally and for generations to come. Thanks for coming everyone! #WSI #WesternSydneyAirport #WSIAirport #Aviation #AviationNews #Community #CommunityEngagement
