🚨Proposed Electoral Reforms🚨 This week, the government is proposing changes to Australia’s electoral system that could significantly impact how political campaigns are funded. Political parties could receive $5 of taxpayer money for every vote they secure—allegedly to reduce reliance on big private donations. At face value, it sounds like a step towards fairness and transparency.
