Finally, in our three-part Warrnambool go-live series, let's talk about concessions and the in-person registration process! 🤵 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄? Travellers can create an account in-person at Warrnambool Bus & Motor Co’s office (pop-ups, on-vehicle and online registrations happening too!), and in doing so add their concession, fare media and payment details. This allows travellers entitled to a concession to tap on and off using their registered fare media - including a Visa or Mastercard - and in doing so automatically receive a concessional fare. 😍 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀... • No need to top-up a smartcard or pre-purchase a ticket to get their concessional fares • Simply tap on and off, speeding and simplifying their journey • Know the best available concessional fare will be charged automatically 😱 ... 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁! • Streamlining the boarding process and enhancing overall efficiency • Enabling greener options by not having to issue travel new smartcards • Increasing traveller satisfaction by providing a simplified option …and we are just getting started! It was our cool cat Suharsha aka Sarsh’s birthday this month! Our senior software developer has the one-liners that can have you seriously cackling. He can stay calm 😊 no matter what chaos 😨 is happening around him and his steady approach and sharp sense of humour make every challenge feel just a little bit easier—aaaand a lot more fun.
