Applications for the India Australia Rapid Innovation and Startup Expansion (RISE) Accelerator program; Round 2: Climate Smart Agritech are now open and close Sunday 15 September 2024 11:30PM AEST / 7:00PM IST. The scale of farm operations in India and Australia differs greatly, yet both nations face similar climate variability and agricultural resilience challenges. Round 2 of the program is seeking deployable, novel solutions for agricultural production, to support national economies, farmer livelihoods, and food security. Solutions should prioritise farmer needs and on-farm practices. It has been a busy month for the WA Wines to the World program, which Hydra co-ordinates in conjunction with Wines of Western Australia. Last month our WA Lead, Liz Mencel , held 1 day workshops in Perth and Margaret River as part of the WA New-To-Market Exporters Program. And our Marketing Director, Dr. Darren Oemcke, is currently coaching 16 WA wineries on how to successfully open up new markets to export their wines.
