The Australian Department of Home Affairs has announced its new Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL), which updates the current list relevant to the temporary skilled migration program. The CSOL will apply to the core skills stream of the new Skills in Demand (SID) visa, which we believe will replace the 482 visa on 7 December 2024. The CSOL will also apply the direct entry stream of the residence visa subclass 186 (Employer Nomination Scheme). Some occupations will no longer be able to apply for the 482 visa and the 186 direct entry.   To make your very busy lives easier, TEMi Partner Visa Executive has shared a version of the CSOL list that can be sorted to view the occupations that will be approved/will no longer be approved under the new SID visa.
