    I had an amazing couple of days at the International Education Association of Australia (IEAA) Marketing & Recruitment Forum in Brisbane with my partner in crime Darcy Keely! The sessions focused on the integration of human and technological elements in international student recruitment. Here are my key takeaways: 🍟 Admissions, compliance, and recruitment staff need to collaborate more closely to ensure cohesive and effective strategies. 🍕 Universities are aware of tech and the enhancements in AI, but aren’t adopting it quickly enough as this takes resources. But funnily AI should help with that too though right? 🌭 Prospective students are savvy. They know universities have data that they can leverage to further personalise and optimise the UX - so institutions need to get a wriggle on otherwise they’ll lose engagement. 🌯 When it comes to content, find a KSP, then spread it like wildfire on all the channels you know your market is on. -- Was great to engage with the sector again, at a great event! Congrats to the team Peline Tan, Rustico Dulguime and Samantha Milton! Our Student Garden session was around 'Authentic Storytelling through Content', if you want to have this presented to you and the team - HMU!

    🎉 I am celebrating 2 Years @Social Garden! 🎉 It’s hard to believe that two years have flown by since I joined Social Garden. Reflecting on this journey, I’m filled with gratitude and pride for the growth and achievements we've accomplished together. Here are some highlights: 🚀 Design Evolution: Transitioning our design operations from #Sketch to #Figma was a game-changer. Building automated design templates has made our processes smoother and more efficient. 🌐 Intranet Project: I initiated and developed an intranet with $0 extra budget in just 2 months. It’s now our central hub, connecting all staff to resources and information seamlessly across functions. 🔍 Advocating for UX: One of my passions has been introducing UX principles into our business practices. I’m thrilled that UX/CRO audits are now a staple in our gold service offerings Social Garden Student Garden (Talk to us to learn more! 👀 ). 🔧 Expanding Horizons: Moving the main focus from digital design to Product/UX design has been an exciting journey. I’ve worked on projects like the SAAS tool - Leadtech Insights, updating product features for Urban.com.au, and redesigning our new business product homeshelf.com.au. What an awesome place to work for!! 🤝 Client Collaborations: Working with awesome clients such as SuperPark Australia, World Vision Australia, genU Training, Study Melbourne, Frasers Property Australia, Australian Unity (and many many more) has been a highlight. From EDMs to website design, social media content to ad campaigns, I’ve enjoyed diverse and rewarding projects. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this incredible journey. We recently sat down for a chat, and I really enjoyed hearing his insights into how he acquired Hader Institute of Education RTO 45162 🏳️🌈 and how focusing on being the best at a few qualifications (instead of just okay at a LOT of qualifications) is a strong strategy for growth in the RTO space.
