After extensive research and knock backs from over 15 global manufactures, Stephanie was determined to bring her vision to life. 🌟Candy MacLaughlin, General Manager of Skybury Farms, will share her journey of driving growth and diversification in agriculture and agri-tourism, leading one of the most progressive farming operations in North Queensland. Proudly family owned, Skybury Farms produces over three million pieces of fruit annually and supplies on average of 50% of all the Papaya domestically. 🌟We will also introduce you to our amazing cohort 1 of our new Accelerating Female Founders Program and enjoy a night of networking, new connections and inspiration. 📅 Date: Tuesday 1st of October 2024 📍 Location: Smart Precinct NQ 🎟️ Don’t miss out – grab your tickets now: https://hubs.ly/Q02QS70v0 Thanks to the generous support of Advance Queensland #FemaleLeadership #NQInnovation #Entrepreneurship

Massive thanks to Graham Ross and Torsten Witt from BlockTexx for visiting Smart Precinct NQ yesterday and sharing their inspiring journey with us! Graham, co-founder of BlockTexx, a clean tech company revolutionising textile recovery, shared his unique story as a founder. BlockTexx, winner of the AuManufacturing Top 10 Gold Award for Australia’s most innovative manufacturers, is transforming the way we think about textile waste by diverting unwanted clothing from landfills and recovering valuable materials like polyester and cellulose. Some of our local innovators had an exclusive opportunity to engage, ask questions, and gain insights into the challenges they may face on their own journeys in a private group session. Following this insightful round table, we hosted an "On the Couch" session where he took a deep dive into BlockTexx's cutting-edge technology, the power of collaboration, and the innovation driving their success. The highlights included: - Graham’s journey as a co-founder - Overcoming challenges - Pioneering solutions for a circular economy - Scaling and breaking through barriers with innovation Thanks again to Graham, Torsten, and all who joined us for this incredible event! Special thanks for the amazing Jason Lange from Atlas Soils who hosted both events 👏👏👏 #thisistownsville #acityforeveryone #Innovation #CircularEconomy #TextileRecovery #SmartPrecinctNQ #Entrepreneurship #BlockTexx #Sustainability #Manufacturing ✦ Cassandra Cazzulino ✦ Jason Lange Greg Bruce Shelley Grainger Suz Cardy Caitlin Midson Nyree Bolton Ben Smith Brady Ellis Dr Lydia Canovas Saiz
