PyroPIP (International) : Pre-ignition Electrical Fire Prevention

PIP Technology (PIPtech) consists of thermal devices and an entirely new to the world rationale which operates by sensing abnormal heat at electrical connection points caused by High Resistance Connections and joints (HRC/J). In the world of fire safety, PIP is truly unique because it provides an unprecedented proactive solution to HRC/J related electrical fires which was innovated by David and Christine (Elaine) Heathcote (UK) the founders in December 2004 and later was further researched and developed for a manufacturing process by their overseas component manufacturers from 2006 with characteristics information being provided by David. The innovative technology behind PyroPIP allows it to activate at 85°C ±5° which is sufficiently above normal operating temperature to avoid nuisance activation, but well below the point at which smoke or ignition occurs. All other leading fire safety products currently available are reactive solutions, designed to limit the damage once a fire has started, be they sprinkler systems, fire alarms or fire extinguisher systems. PyroPIP was reformed in 2019 in Australia and is the champion of PIPtech solutions which is the trading name of the company. We are responsible for the creation and development of an effective sales and marketing strategy for Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Spain, the USA, and many other territories. PyroPIP's overall management and Head Office is now located in Australia and New Zealand and is no longer in the UK.
