We're thrilled to hear that Jetstar Airways will increase its domestic capacity into Perth between February and June 2025 ✈🎉 More than 6000 new seats will be added, primarily focused on the Adelaide and Melbourne routes, providing more opportunities for Western Australians to travel for business or pleasure. In the early hours of Sunday morning, Emirates launched its double daily service between Dubai and Perth🎉✈ This second daily service operates on a B777-300ER aircraft and is addition to the current daily A380 service, which means that each day, there are 1702 seats to and from Dubai! With a network connecting to more than 140 destinations world-wide, this second daily service is fantastic news for travellers. #PerthAirport #Emirates #Doubledaily

Tonight at 10pm, China Southern Airlines returns to PER and will operate three times a week on a B787-9 aircraft, bringing more than 780 inbound seats to WA each week. This is also great news for the business, education and export industries that rely on a direct connection to mainland China. The care, safety and security of the public and those working at Perth Airport continues to be our priority.   That is why conducting emergency exercises is an important part of our operational readiness management.   Agencies involved in today’s exercise include the Australian Federal Police, WA Police, Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting, Air Traffic Control (Airservices Australia), the Fire and Emergency Services, The Salvation Army and St John Ambulance.   We have a fantastic working relationship with the Emergency Services who we work with every day to keep our airport safe.
