Paladin Energy Ltd is a S&P/ASX100 globally significant independent uranium producer. Production restarted at our Langer Heinrich Mine in March 2024 on time and within cost forecast. Langer Heinrich is world-class, long-life uranium mine, accounting for ~4% of the world’s uranium production once ramped up to nameplate capacity of 6 Mlb p.a. It has already produced over 40 Mlb of U3O8 with a successful 10-year track record. It is expected to produce over 77 Mlb over the next 17 years. Paladin is also progressing the Michelin project (resources of 128 Mlb U3O8) located on the east coast of Canada with imminent commencement of the Pre-Feasibility Study. The Company holds a portfolio of advanced exploration projects in Australia (Mount Isa, Manyingee & Carley Bore) with resources totalling 190 Mlb U3O8. Paladin advises that on 8 October 2024, Fission obtained a final order from the Supreme Court of British Columbia approving the proposed acquisition of Fission Uranium Corp. by way of a court approved plan of arrangement under the Canada Business Corporations Act. Fission Shareholders Vote in Favour of the Acquisition by Paladin Paladin is pleased to announce that Fission shareholders have approved the Transaction, with 67.9% of votes cast at the Meeting in favour of the Transaction, exceeding the required threshold. Receipt of Fission shareholder approval for the Transaction satisfies an important condition precedent for the completion of the Transaction under the arrangement agreement between Paladin and Fission dated 24 June 2024 as amended on 25 July 2024 and 29 August 2024. We have released our 2024 Annual Report to Shareholders. During the past year, Paladin achieved significant milestones including completion of the Langer Heinrich Mine (LHM) Restart Project on time and within cost forecast, exceptional project delivery with over 2.5 million project hours with no serious injury or environment incident, commencement of production at the LHM, inventory build up ahead of our first customer shipment and the provision of capital flexibility to our balance sheet via a US$150M Syndicated Debt Facility. All these achievements were possible due to the hard work and dedication of our staff and contractors and to the continued trust and support from our shareholders.
