Nutrip Trip & Expense Management Software - Manages what is currently unmanaged.

About us

Nutrip is designed for universities seeking comprehensive oversight of travel activities and people movements, beyond just flight management. We’ve established a cohesive gateway that enables centralised processes, perfectly blending academic autonomy with administrative and compliance demands. Our platform delivers enhanced visibility across a broad spectrum of travel activities which provides opportunities for greater efficiency and control, physically, financially and environmentally. Unlike other providers, Nutrip's solution is customisable and importantly, captures travel activity beyond the booking system. This approach effectively addresses the constraints posed by travel agent solutions which currently impact university travel programs.

  • Travel Admin 101 Fixing errors - If only you could quality check the data as part of the process. As Simon Crunden (Nutrip's Founder) explains, giving admins the capacity to clean up data has advantages. Small easily fixable errors should not create barriers to accurate and functional processes. And Nutrip can assist with this. With lots of travellers and trip plans in their purview, Nutrip strives to make life easier for Travel Administrators. Every single day! #travelmanagement #traveladministrators #nutrip #traveltechnology #traveloperations #travel101

  • We know it's the weekend but we wanted to celebrate anyway 😉 It's our 3rd Birthday 🎉 🎉 🎉 3 years in and we have: - 55,000+ trips planned; - 10,000's of travellers taken care of; - 1000's of travel arrangers involved; - 100's of travel approvers engaged; - dozens of travel administrators sleeping...phew; - a good handful or two of integrations with 3rd party platforms; and a whole lot of happy customers! A huge shout out to the teams at Monash University, Flinders University and Pacific Community-SPC for helping us to shape who we are today. And a big THANK YOU to all our individual users who have engaged with the platform as travellers, travel arrangers, travel approvers, travel administrators, travel service providers, travel anything.....the list is long! Nutrip is a unique offering in a noisy market. We are pleased you hear us 😊

  • Everyone needs a holiday. But when you are "Out of Office", who is looking after your workload. In this video, Simon Crunden explains how Nutrip supports the delegation of roles in travel operations. Especially travel approvals. And how Nutrip responded to customer feedback to improve visibility around: - who was delegating to whom; - for why; - and, for how long. It was a simple update to existing functionality. The impact massive. And our customers, with upwards of 200 approval delegations and 1000 booking delegations in place at any one time (more than a handful), now have transparent and auditable data on delegations. Every Trip, Every Traveller, Nutrip managed. #travelmanagement #nutrip #traveltechnology #traveloperations

  • Not all travellers are the same. Most may be staff. But what if you have cohorts of travellers that aren’t on the payroll such as students or consultants. Do these need to be managed for travel risk too? As Nutrip Founder Simon Crunden explains in this video, the reasons that people travel on behalf of your organisation may be many and varied. And they may travel in ways that traditional travel management systems just can’t accommodate. Especially if they don’t take flights. Best practice would be having a centralised source of data for all travellers, regardless of the who, what, why, when, where and how of their travel. Thereby covering off on the risk that travel goes unmanaged. Every trip, Every traveller, Nutrip managed. #travelmanagement #nutrip #traveltechnology #traveloperations #travelriskmanagement

  • Is a focus on capturing all the costs of a trip important to you? But near on impossible because not every traveller wants to stay where your organisation would prefer them too! As Simon Crunden explains in this latest video from Nutrip, the way we book accommodation as travellers has changed significantly in the past decade or so. The impact this is having on how business travellers see their options for longer trips away can cause headaches at operational level. But can also bring benefits to organisations. Giving your travellers the flexibility to book elsewhere once they have their trip budgets approved can be managed, you just need the right tools. #travelmanagement #nutrip #traveltechnology #traveloperations

Does private leave, direct flight bookings and train trips (in Europe) make it difficult to know where your people are and what they are doing? Do you have many places you need to look in order to keep a track of what is happening on a day to day basis for each traveller? And, are you managing the operations of a large company with a large cohort of travellers, and finding it a headache? In this week’s video, Simon Crunden explains how Nutrip is designed to capture these individual complexities by every traveller for each trip plan, and how this translates into an understanding of what is truly happening within travel programs. Using universities as an example, we know that 85% of academic travellers are self-managing their travel plans. This means that no matter where they book, how they get there or where they’re going, Nutrip has the detail available to university travel program managers. Any organisation with a large cohort of travellers will benefit from having a single source of information for the who, what, why, when, how and where of travel. And to have that linked into service and support teams for reviews, approvals and audits is gold for a lot of people managing travel. Every trip, Every traveller, Nutrip managed. #travelmanagement #nutrip #traveltechnology #traveloperations

Workflows and adaption. When it comes to managing travel programs, the complexity isn’t in the purchase of the airfares. That’s where the cost is. The complexity is in ensuring that everyone is getting what they need out of the travel programs. In this video, Nutrip Founder, Simon Crunden, explains why Nutrip thinks customisation is important and how this helps organisations to manage the expectations of different stakeholders. It all starts with simplifying the collection of data. This ensures everything is available post the approval stage and support teams such as finance have all the data they need to facilitate the trip’s success once it’s been approved. Every trip, Every traveller, Nutrip managed. #travelmanagement #nutrip #traveltechnology
