As our industry’s representative on the National Construction Industry Forum (NCIF), NECA represented electricians and subcontractors at the first meeting of the NCIF Blueprint for the future. The Blueprint is a significant milestone for the building and construction industry as leaders from unions, head contractors, sub-contractors, and government gathered to chart a path for real, long-term change in our industry. Together, we commenced work to develop a transformative roadmap to address key challenges, improve industry culture, and drive lasting progress. Over the next six months, NCIF members will work to: ✔ identify and prioritise the industry’s critical challenges ✔ develop a phased workplan to deliver tangible, effective solutions ✔ ensure that reform is industry-led and supported by government This initiative represents a unique opportunity for our sector to shape its own future and create meaningful change for generations to come.
