Today we officially launched the Monash Assistive Technology and Society (MATS) Centre, welcoming guests from industry, academia and the not-for-profit sector. Highlights from the event included tours of our makerspace showcasing projects from academics, PhD students and coursework students. We're looking forward to the innovative and life-changing outcomes the Centre will drive across research and education, such as offering #PhD opportunities for candidates with disabilities.
