Two years ago, Esther was struggling to connect with new friends, so she started a social club at Emmanuel College. ‘I wanted to make it easier for other people’, she said. This term, the success of Esther’s club earned her a National Award for Intercultural Excellence from Together for Humanity Foundation, recognising her as a student champion! #MACSmorethaneducation #lightingtheirpath #flourishinglearners

Students from around Australia flocked to Brisbane for the STEM MAD National Showcase last week. 10 MACS schools were selected to present following the Melbourne STEM MAD Student Showcase in September. The next generation of innovators presented their creative approaches to counter some of the challenges facing our world, including species loss, natural disasters, community accessibility issues and human expansion to space. Congratulations to our major award winners from Catholic Regional College Caroline Springs (The Andy Thomas Space Foundation Award for STEM in Space) and HOLY TRINITY CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL ELTHAM NORTH (Catholic Network Australia Award for Social Justice – Primary). We can’t wait to see the positive impact these flourishing learners have on our world! #STEMMAD #MakingADifference #FlourishingLearners #LightingTheirPath #CatholicNetworkAustralia Brisbane Catholic Education Catholic Regional College Caroline Springs | Kolbe Catholic College, Greenvale Lakes | St Monica's College Epping - Official

To meet the demand for our whole-child Catholic education, we're investing across the MACS school network, setting priorities and projects to grow alongside our communities. Last week, we celebrated the opening of dynamic new learning spaces for Years 5 and 6 students at St Peter Apostle School, Hoppers Crossing, designed to support the students' transition to secondary school. This $3.6M project is the first stage of the school's Master Plan, realised with a $2.4 million loan from Catholic Development Fund (CDF). MACS' school and parish communities save government tens of millions of dollars every year through their contributions to tuition costs and capital works. 📸BALDASSO CORTESE #macsmorethaneducation #macs #melbournecatholicschools #educationexcellence #flourishinglearners
