We were beyond honoured to team up with Guide Dogs Australia’s QLD crew for International White Cane Day this year! 🎉 Our 2024 White Cane campaign aimed to shine a light on the real-life experiences of people with low vision or blindness, and the incredible power of the White Cane in giving them independence and freedom. We also worked to raise awareness of how crucial the White Cane is in promoting mobility and self-sufficiency. Four-year-old Heath has finally gained access to Trikafta, a life-saving treatment, after his family’s relentless campaign alongside Cystic Fibrosis Australia to expand eligibility for children under the age of five. It was fantastic to work with Australian Dental Association again this year for Dental Health Week. Our campaign aimed to increase awareness and public understanding of gum health, with new research from ADA revealing Australians are ignoring the red flags of poor gum health, particularly due to the cost-of-living. Utilising the Association's range of dental experts, as well as a gum disease patient case study, the campaign achieved a whopping 1,139 items of coverage with an enormous 57 million impressions! 🪥 This was an especially rewarding result to achieve amid a variety of awareness weeks happening simultaneously to Dental Health Week, not to mention competing with heavy Olympics coverage! Time hooks are great to use as leverage, but they are simply one piece of a much bigger puzzle.
