We were excited to take part in Pacific Green's recent community information session in Portland, Victoria. 🚀 Exciting Milestone: DA Approval for Up to 400 Apartments in Rouse Hill 🚀 Thrilled to announce that our Development Application (DA) for the Northern Residential Precinct in Rouse Hill was recently approved by the Sydney Central City Planning Panel. Fantastic to collaborate with both our consultant team and The Hills Shire Council to unlock this development opportunity. Originally envisaged to deliver c. 80 low-rise dwellings back in the early 2000s, the recent approval comes off the back of the tremendous success and growth of the Rouse Hill Regional Centre over the past 20 years. The DA is a terrific example of transit-oriented development where increased density is delivered near existing transport hubs, shops, schools, parks and open spaces. The approval will deliver much-needed housing supply in one of the fastest growing areas in Sydney and it is great to play a small role in tackling the current housing crisis. A fantastic event. It was a pleasure to host the session - thanks for visiting us at our brand new Sydney office!
We were pleased to host an informative session with the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) on Tuesday 26th November. The session provided our members with an overview of NSW’s contaminated land regulatory framework and the NSW EPA’s role. Highlights included learning about how the EPA regulates contamination, and what resources and assistance are available for contaminated land consultants. It was also great to hear about and discuss the EPA’s Environmental Management Plan Practice Note, which aims to guide consultants and other persons in drafting plans suited to long-term management of contamination. A huge thankyou to the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) for developing the material and providing this session to our members. We look forward to further updates in 2025.

It was a fantastic platform for collaboration and discovery into upcoming and ongoing projects in South Australia, with the opportunity for attendees to mix and mingle while diving deep into the state's Exploration and Mining sector. The JBS&G - An Independent Accredited Environmental Consultancy and Consentium - Corporate Affairs & PR teams brought their expertise to the Adelaide Convention Centre to share insights with industry peers, students and like-minded companies. Although some were meeting us for the very first time, they were excited to hear about the environmental assessments and approvals, contaminated land management, sustainability and stakeholder engagement services we offer.
