🌏✨ Radiology Making a Difference Across Borders ✨🌏 Dr. Craig Buchan, one of our exceptional radiologists, recently lent his expertise to the Radiology Across Borders program, leaving a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery in the Solomon Islands. Through his contributions in musculoskeletal imaging, ultrasound-guided interventions, and advanced CT techniques, Dr. Buchan strengthened collaboration between Orthopaedic and Radiology departments, empowering local healthcare professionals and improving patient care in resource-limited settings. 🗣️ Dr. Buchan reflects: "One major learning I found was the value of a multidisciplinary team approach to the outreach visit by incorporating the skills of radiologists, surgeons, anaesthetists, nursing staff, and allied health. This approach not only encouraged local specialists to collaborate but also provided an opportunity for us to learn from one another outside of our usual practice. Seeing this teamwork in action was inspiring, and it motivates me to contribute to future outreach initiatives." Lake Imaging are excited about the relocation of one of our Geelong practices. Our Ocean Grove clinic will move to a brand-new, purpose-built facility opening Monday, December 9th! As part of Lake’s investment, this comprehensive radiology practice will provide the community with access to Ocean Grove’s first MRI scanner. By expanding our range of services, patients will also benefit from fast access to interventional procedures, performed by Dr Andrew Hely and our other local Radiologists. Lake Imaging at Ocean Plaza will be located at 71 The Parade and open Monday to Saturday.
