I get to soak in the beauty of it all while also finding the hard nature of work very rewarding. Being able to provide the cattle with a happy, healthy and low stress life while under our care, is my biggest passion and it’s wonderful to work alongside such a like-minded team at Hill River” - Chloe “I am grateful that I get to live and work in some of the most beautiful county in WA. We were delighted to join Minister Don Punch, Chef Melissa Palinkas, the Buy West East Best team and other WA seafood suppliers at Fremantle Boat Harbour yesterday to promote local seafood for the festival season. The minister enjoyed freshly shucked Albany Rock Oysters and encouraged all West Australians to make the most of the incredible seafood available at this time of year.

We were delighted to be recognised at the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) Awards last Thursday as an Industry Sector Reporting Award winner in the Food & Beverage category. This was in recognition of the work we have undertaken in our seafood packaging to improve sustainability and functionality. Harvest Road celebrated the start of Leeuwin Coast Albany Rock Oyster season last night overlooking the Indian Ocean at Bib & Tucker with local chefs, media and industry partners. Host & Chef Scott Bridger was joined by Chef Melissa Palinkas of Young George and Perth’s Oyster King Jerry Fraser with each of them serving up Albany Rock Oysters in their unique style for guests as the sunset. With Harvey Beef and many other WA delicacies also on the menu, it was an incredible feast of Western Australian produce in a stunning location.

Today is National Agriculture Day, and Harvest Road Group proudly celebrates the agricultural industry that enriches Australian lives daily. Harvest Road were proud to attend the 2024 Albany Show last weekend, where we provided samples of Harvey Beef and freshly shucked Albany Rock Oysters. The Albany Agricultural show is a community event dedicated to promoting, encouraging, and supporting the development of Albany and the Great Southern Region's rich resources.

Great to see our Harvey Beef Reserve premium Grainfed product on show at the recent Makro HORECA event. Chef Natsasi ( Lady Butcher ) Nooin demonstrated some great inspiration for how versatile a single cut can be for Chef’s to work with.

Some of the team from Harvest Road had the opportunity to volunteer at Foodbank WA. Together we packed essential food items and helped organise supplies for those in need. This is a great way to give back to the community. Harvest Road has recently partnered with Foodbank to offer them many of our wonderful Harvey Beef products at a discounted rate for them to purchase and provide their customers with quality, nutritious and affordable products.

Our Leeuwin Coast team were delighted to host key national wholesale partners at our Albany aquaculture farm last week ahead of the upcoming Albany Rock Oyster season. Our team took our guests out on the water, showcasing our growing practices and followed by a tour of our state of the art land based nursery and grading facility. They also visited the Albany Shellfish Hatchery before enjoying some of the best produce of the Great Southern in some of Albany’s wonderful, hospitable venues.
