We’ve been working on something exciting for the past year, and the moment has finally arrived—we’re thrilled to announce the official launch of the OzEco Compostable Paper Liner 🎉 This circular, sustainable solution is set to transform food waste management. The OzEco Bag is made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper, locally manufactured in Australia, and designed to support #FOGO (Food Organics and Garden Organics) programs. Key Features of the OzEco Bag: - Made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper. - Locally manufactured in Australia, reducing carbon footprint and supporting local industries. - Fully home and commercially compostable, enhancing compost quality. - Designed to fit seamlessly into FOGO kitchen caddies. - Saves trees by repurposing recycled paper and cardboard, preventing unnecessary deforestation. - Adds soil benefits, including moisture absorption and increased carbon content. - Reduces contamination in compost streams compared to bioplastic liners. Why is this so important? As bioplastic liners (like lime-green compostable liners) face potential bans across Victoria due to contamination issues at composting facilities, the need for a better alternative has never been clearer. And even if these bans don’t happen, the OzEco Bag offers a smarter, more sustainable choice that supports waste diversion and circularity. 💡 Did you know? We’re currently conducting a 3-month trial with three councils in Victoria to ensure the OzEco Bag meets the needs of councils, households, and composting facilities. 👉 Learn More at https://lnkd.in/gme4Kp5a or 📩 Reach Out at [email protected]    To arrange an info session, discuss pilot programs, request samples or place orders. Together, let’s make circularity the standard, support Australian manufacturing, and drive meaningful change in food waste management. #OzEcoBag #CircularEconomy #Sustainability #FOGO #FoodWasteManagement #AustralianMade #CompostingSolutions

  • 🌏 What is Anaerobic Digestion, and how can it support Australian energy needs?🌱 Anaerobic digestion (AD) is a natural process where organic waste—like food scraps, agricultural residues, and manure—is broken down by microbes in an oxygen-free environment. The result? Renewable biogas that can power homes, businesses, and even vehicles, while producing nutrient-rich fertilisers. At Hart Bioenergy, we’re optimising this powerful technology at the nexus of biology to create a clean future.  From reducing greenhouse gas emissions to transforming waste into value, AD is paving the way for sustainable energy!
